Sold STC - Brockhill Road, Hythe, CT21 - £595,000

Front, Brockhill Road, Hythe, CT21

DESCRIPTION
This most attractive detached house occupies a particularly generous plot in an exclusive location. The property is understood to have been built by Charliers, builders held in high repute, in the 1930's and has been in the hands of the same owners for some thirty eight years. Whilst appearing to have been generally well maintained and in part improved, not least of all the installation of Heritage double glazing, it is fair to say that would now benefit from some general updating but, with scope to extend (subject to all necessary consents and approvals being obtained) presents an opportunity to create an exceptionally comfortable family home tailored to suit the purchasers own tastes and requirements and is considered well worthy of any expenditure required.

The property currently comprises an entrance hall leading to a generous sitting room with an attractive original fireplace and double doors opening to the dining room which in turn leads to the kitchen. There is also a cloakroom on the ground floor. The first floor comprises three double bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate cloakroom - there is considerable scope to convert the attic space (subject to all necessary consents and approvals being obtained). The gardens are a particularly attractive aspect of the property being of generous size with the rear garden enjoying a westerly aspect. There is a generous driveway providing parking and access to the integral garage.
